Last Minute Gift Making - DIY Peppermint Sugar Scrub

Each year we make something special for extended family and friends, just a little homemade gift to share on christmasday. This year we made Fresh Peppermint Sugar Scrub which we did already test...... and we are very pleased with the outcome!
This Peppermint Sugar Scrub can easily be made with children. As soon as the melted coconut butter is not hot anymore everyone can help mixing together the ingredients in a large pot or bowl. Can be a bit messy indeed.... but is there anything more beautiful than a crafty mess? Ha!
For our Peppermint Sugar Scrub we used Sugar, coconut butter, very finely crushed dried peppermint leafes from our garden and Essential Peppermint Oil from Young Living with its strong, clean, fresh, minty aroma.
For the DIY Sugar Scrub You will need:
  • 2 Kilogramm white granulated sugar (about 12 little jars)
  • 250 Gramm coconut butter (melted)
  • very finely crushed dried peppermint leafes
  • About 10 drops Essential Peppermint Oil
  • Mix all ingredients well in a large pot.
  • Store in the sanitized, jars, packing the sugar tightly.
  • Store in a cool place away from direct sunlight.
