Inhale & How To Make Your Own Elderflower Syrup

Summer Solstice comes closer and closer and with it the most beautiful time of the year in our garden. Fresh green, a lot of blooming flowers and fruits and vegetables to be harvested soon.
Elderflowers are at their best now so I made some Elderflower Syrup yesterday.
Here is the Recipe:
All You need is:
20 Elderflower Blossoms
Some Pepper Mint Leaves
1 Kilogramm Suger
1 Liter Water
25 Gramm Citric Acid

Use a large pot add the water and the Citric Acid and carefully put all the blossoms and the pepper mint leaves into the water. Cover the bowl with a tea towel and store in a cool and dark place for about 24 hours. Then strain the blossoms from the syrup and add the sugar. Bring the syrup to a boil over medium high heat and cook until the sugar has dissolved. Once dissolved, boil the syrup for about five more minutes. Pour the hot syrup into the sterilized jars or drink it right away. Enjoy!
